Monster House

TLC’s Monster House was my first professional encounter in Interior Design. I was pleased to hear my friend and follow designer Jodi Pinski was selected to be this episode’s design guru. The theme was Ancient Roman Décor which really made our jobs easier as we both are fans of Roman/Graeco design. As per of Jodi’s design team we worked on design concept, functionality of design, colors, fabrics, and of course decorating the space. A tremendous amount of fun and excitement filled each passing day during the shoot. Working with other trained professionals that week made me realize my future potential in this ever growing field of Interior Design. Another wonderful aspect of that week was getting to know the host, Steve Watson. Steve was very gracious and lots of fun to be around. In the end, I was extremely proud to have had played a part in this rare opportunity. The episode aired in March 2004.
